Master Cleanse Day 5

YAY! Half way there! I have to tell you the weekend was a bit of a challenge. To be honest, I am a little tired of the cleanse. I am not hungry, just tired of it. I lost two more pounds, though, so that's a good thing. Boy, though, do I want to eat!!! I am already planning how we are going to come off this diet next weekend. I really do miss cooking! Also, I still really want a quesadilla.
This is exactly what is went through my head all weekend:

So, I took the tea last night and once again, four hours later, it hit me. That part is getting old. However, I am really starting to detox now. Lot's of mucus. (Sorry if that is gross.) I am not going to the restroom as frequently, which is nice since I do have to go into work one day next week. I had a slight headache today and am not sure why. I had it at first, then not for a couple of days and now it's back.

Today was not unusual, it's just like I said, I want real food and I want to cook. I feel better than I have in a long time and have plenty of energy. Five more days!!!

  1. i'm on day 5 of the master cleanse looking for inspiration and found your blog.

    1. kudos! i see you finished the cleanse, just shy of one day but it definitely encouraged me knowing that you wanted to and you only stopped bc it was inconvenient. i think i can do it. just need a boost every once in a while.

    2. i'd love to know if you've continued a change in your eating habits since the cleanse. i've been looking through the DELICIOUS recipes you've posted, and i must say, that is the reason i haven't read in depth to find out because i'm afraid it'll make me hungry. ;)

i'll definitely come back and read more and get more ideas from you. i hope you keep it up!

    thanks,
    a.

p.s. i can't take my eyes off that mint chocolate chip ice cream! :)

  2. Hi there!

Thank you so much for your comments! Good on your for finishing Day 5!!!! You must be on Day 7 now.

So, on my continuation of the cleanse. My mom passed away two days after I finished so I REALLY got off track. That is not a typical situation, so I am certain you can continue eating well.

Joey and I are starting the cleanse again in July. While it is soon, it's mainly because things got off kilter when my mom died.

Good luck and please keep me posted!
